We highly recommends our client to ask for such information in advance to avoid any type of miscomprehension mainly for “additional works” and where project has been delayed for X reasons.

F10. How can ‘additional work’ affect the timeline for completion of my project?

Having additional works on a project is very normal mainly for renovation projects. However it can impact hardly on the project timeframe when project owners have not finalized on choices to be made (Ex. We promote that instructions are made in written for reference matter.

F19. How do we resolve any disagreements?

This is a crucial & delicate question because, unfortunately, mistakes and disagreements do sometimes occur, despite the best intentions of contractors and homeowners. As far as one’s admits to previous disputes, this isn’t necessarily a red flag! For example, Franky Veerasamy, the main Director of Forvis Ltd , mentions that ‘’both parties before signing any contracts shall make it clear that minor issues do come up.!! Relax, take a deep breath and look for solutions instead. Customers and contractors both have to be fair with one another, and your expectations have to be realistic. When disputes happen, either you give the contractor the opportunity to fix it OR request how you ‘think’ X solution will address that issue by getting to the heart of what you need. In such cases, you should also be prepared for the contractor to have their own list of questions to ask you and advice to you on what is realizable or not realizable in X timeframe under X conditions. An open dialogue helps ensure that both parties are staying on top of the project, and are setting clear and reasonable expectations of how the project will go. At the end of the day, let’s make it happen – focus on the end result‘’
